Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, former governor of Oyo state and gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday withdrew from the primaries of the political party that will be held in Ibadan on Sunday, asking his supporters to stay away from the congress. Alao-Akala also called on APC’s national leadership and President Mohammadu Buhari to come to the aid of the Oyo State chapter of the ruling party, which he said was on the brink of collapse due to the high-handedness and imposition of candidate on delegates who will vote at the primaries by Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
